In August I drove up to Boise, met with my installer and his assistant who flew in, and we installed the three panel Trees of Life (12’ x 6’) in the home of the collectors who commissioned it.  Planning how to go about the installation had taken a tremendous amount of time, and in the end the tall painting of three trees harmonized with the two story windows in the room that looked out on a stunning vertical garden.  When the house remodel is complete I will go up again to experience and photograph the full impact that the painting has on the living space in combination with the landscaping that it is visually related to. Many thanks to my long time collectors, for their courage to commission such a significant work of art, and their ease with and understanding of the creative process. Thanks also to Greg Tindel at Art Enhancement in Albuquerque for his expertise and remarkable attention to detail with the installation.
