Fall 2013: Bosque Beast, a bimonthly publication in support of animals, featured Stetson's painting Protecting Elephant on the cover. "An artist friend of mine returned recently from a trip to Africa, where she witnessed the aftermath of an elephant massacre. The story was so disturbing that I couldn’t shake it, so I was motivated to paint Protecting Elephant, in hopes that this kind of brutality will end. I wrote a poem that accompanies the painting, which is now owned by the director of Sundance Film Festival. Here is an excerpt from the poem, and a larger image of the painting."
